Let’s look at this rationally: Dr. Phil is a fucking fraud. The fact he was created from Oprah’s left rib doesn’t surprise me, as he, along with his dark Lord represent the lunacy of the self-help craze. As just mentioned, his rise to fame was pampered by Oprah Winfrey (see #27), she not only gave absolute validity to anything he said, but also, she entrusted him with his very own God complex. Dr. Phil’s God complex is infinitely more dangerous than Oprah’s because his education allows him to assert his self-proclaimed omnipotence over a vapid population who, until Dr. Phil came along, were unaware they had problems to being with.
My qualm with you Dr. Phil is that you profess to help people but reek of such arrogance. You belittle drug users, tell people they’re wasting your time, and you proclaim to know when people are fucking with you. Your archetypal representation of the masculine listening formula is fucking disgusting. You don’t listen to people, you have made up your mind about each and every heroin user that walks through your door, you have judged that bad father before he explains his side. Your advice is already planned out, nothing these people say matters in the slightest, it boggles the mind people even bother going on your show anymore. You’re a lucky bastard because your success stems from an attention craving population where people are willing to go on tv and admit they jack off to pictures of their five year old… just as long as they can do it on national television. Dr. Phil, you must recognize the problem with this, not only are you perpetuating a very real problem in American culture, but also you are making assloads of money off of it. Your shows get continuously more ridiculous and edgy as you notice your Adderall riddled fan base losing interest. You continue to push the envelope, I mean really it stopped being about helping people a while ago didn’t it? Now you are a cumslut to the orgasmic release of good ratings. But the simple facial wasn’t enough you dirty bastard, now you enjoy s&m, talking dirty, and prostate play. Here’s the thing, you’ll eventually get to auto-erotic asphyxiation and it will spell your doom. Seriously buddy, don’t go around seeking to wave other people’s dirty laundry for America to see when it’s covered in semen and nicotine stains. The general population, although inherently sedated to this type of exploitative television will eventually catch on to your glorified abuse, and they’ll just stop watching.
And the Dr. Phil Weightloss Challenge! Phillip have you ever taken a look in the mirror? You’re no Adam Brody. You professing to know how to keep a trim figure is like Paul Bernardo writing a book on how to not be a sociopath, it might make sense but the author doesn’t live by these guidelines. Here’s a recommendation, how about you join in the next time you feature the weightloss challenge on your sham of a show? I guarantee you’ll be gasping for air and clutching your Twinkies as they try and pry them from your leathery hands.
Seriously buddy suck my cunt, if you actually believe you’re helping people, you either are delusional as hell or actually are fantastically arrogant… both are very bad things. I mean I’m delusional, but I don’t influence or offer advice to millions of people, shit’s a lethal combo.
The four or five times I’ve watched this show I was alarmed to realize that the very problems of the guest resemble a similar issue in my life. I can’t imagine how damaging this could be to people who take this shit seriously. I envision millions of stay at home moms and dads weeping while they masturbate frivilously to your garbage.
You’ve got to hand it him though, he’s duped the free world. But when you’re trapped in the trunk of his Ford Windstar as he drives you to his concentration camp style rehabilitation centers, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
In closing, his method is very terrifying, he sweats a certain accusatory psychology over those who watch it. Instead of listening to the problems of his guest and guiding them towards an appropriate course of action, he places the fault entirely on them. Exposing the flaw of the individual isn’t going to get you anywhere.
PS: Dr. Phil talks about how he knows how to fix people, when he has lied with his weight loss supplement claims, cheated constantly on his first wife, and rapes our environment in his monstrous ten million dollar home. The dude barely has control of himself, how can he help others?

A lot of our reasoning is cohesive. I think the reason that I hate him most is because whenever I walk into the living room and see my Mom on the couch mindlessly watching his bullhit rants, it makes me realize that this is how my American guidance staff learned their craft and why student psychology disables American students from becoming educated people.
I remember when I was in grade 9 and getting called up to the office because I was “an outcast.” I’m not going to even begin to pontificate on what that means, but I’ll say that I was labeled as such becasue I didn’t fit the hyper-heternormative standards of the Jesus fucking christ prep school I went to. Anyway, because I was non-normative, the guidance counselor assumed I was suicidal and told me that I had to go to therapy if I wanted to keep going to my 10,000$ a year prep school. I could have told her that I wore black all the time because I found the color was easy to match, or because I was a gothic pussy who thought it made me look cool. Thats not the point. The point is the conversation never happened. The conversation is a fundamental aspect of psychology and the base of what truth in psychology is the freedom to express oneself.
This is where doctor phil fails. His thought process is the reason why DSM IV took 18 years to get rid of homosexuality. It’s not talking to the people that you are critiquing and forcing them to meet a label you ascribe because you hold the power to say what is right.
Doctor phil should have never been given this power, even by Midwestern State University. Nobody who is implored by there education to rationalize the human mind she have the power to make peoples emotions seem devoid of all rationality.
